If you could leave just one PRISM+ product in a time capsule for SG100, which would it be and why?
The PRISM+ E-series Smart TV—our first ever TV. It wasn’t perfect, but it filled a real gap in the market: affordable big-screen smart TVs with local support. Before that, Singaporeans were stuck choosing between overpriced global brands or unreliable imports. The E-series changed that. It resonated with everyday households, took off faster than we expected, and became the product that allowed us to scale up into the brand we are today.
How do you decide what to build next—TVs, monitors, or even aircon?
We start with one question: What would make our customers’ lives better at home? If we find a gap—like overpriced aircon systems or underwhelming monitors—we go in, engineer a better alternative, strip out the fluff, and pass the value straight to the customer. That’s how we ended up building everything from Google TVs to smart laundry machines.
From watching Channel 8 dramas with Ah Ma to streaming K-dramas in 4K, how has the Singapore home screen changed?
It’s evolved from a communal TV in the living room to a multi-screen lifestyle across every room. But the core hasn’t changed—we still gather around content that brings us joy. The difference now? It’s in stunning 4K, and we’re in control of when, where, and how we watch it.
When you think of SG60, what chapter do you hope PRISM+ is helping to write?
We hope we're writing the chapter where Singapore brands start leading, not following. Where local innovation goes mainstream around the region, and homegrown tech becomes a source of national pride. Not just built in Singapore—but built for Singaporeans.

Absolutely true. In fact, it’s not just one—it’s probably three. Our devices today are multitaskers, just like us. That’s why we design our screens to keep up—with HDMI ARC, high refresh rates, and crystal-clear panels that do it all without breaking a sweat.
